This paper is a pastiche that describes the points of departure from modernism to post-modernism and switching over from structuralism to post-structuralism. All the salient features of these movements are represented in bulleted forms.
However, the point of departure, from the part of the author, is to introduce the history of anti-modernist responses from some Indian scholars, who had challenged the hegemonic imposition monolithic ‘modern science’ by introducing anekantavada, the philosophy of many probabale perspectives.
