English Abstract: This paper is a symptomatic and psychoanalytic reading of “Sultana’s Dream” (1908)by Begum Rokeya (1908). The fiction also reveals the eco-feminist agenda of Begum Rokeya (and that is the pioneering contribution of Rokeya in the realm of feminism). The fantasy framework of the narrator in course of dreaming a lady-land is also that leads to the domain of (a) Lacanian concept of Sinthome; (b) the blurred division between sleeping and waking or real and irreal or fact and fiction.
